You have a right to privacy when using the Build Your Box website and services. The following are guidelines we use to ensure that your personal data is kept secure and is only used to deliver any service you request from us.

1.0 Build Your Box Privacy Policy

Build Your Box will collects, stores and uses personal information for specific purposes only, to process purchase orders, to provide services and support and to provide useful information about Build Your Box to customers. This personal information is not sold to any third party company and data is only shared with companies, or as required by law, to deliver products and services requested by customers. For example, to deliver products Build Your Box must provide a delivery company with the required name and address. Build Your Box endeavours to protect all personal data by applying suitable processes, customers can however request to see personal data stored about them and request that it be changed or deleted.

2.0 The Information Build Your Box Collects

Build Your Box will only request information from customers when it is required to provide products or services, or to enhance user experience on the Build Your Box website. Information will be requested and in some cases, but not all, be required when;

• Users register on the Build Your Box website.
• A request is made to quote for products and/or services.
• When an order is placed for products and/or services.
• A customer requests technical assistance from Build Your Box.
• A user of the website provides feedback.
• A subscription to a newsletter is made.

The type of information Build Your Box collects includes, but is not limited to, name, address, e-mail address, IP address, where you heard about us, phone numbers, occupation, industry, and transactional information (bank or credit/debit card details). In some cases this information is voluntary and will not be required for the purchase or use of products and services.

Build Your Box does not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.

• To comply with any legal obligation on the part of Build Your Box.

4.0 Newsletters and Requests for Information

Customers and users of the Build Your Box website can sign up to newsletters, which will be sent via e-mail. Information sent to newsletter subscribers will contain information on products and services from Build Your Box only, changes to Build Your Box including this privacy policy and terms and conditions, as well as promotions and offers exclusive to newsletter subscribers. Subscribers can unsubscribe from newsletters at any point by navigation to the account section of the site and following the on screen instructions.

5.0 Sharing Personal Data

Personal data will only be shared with trustworthy companies who have similar privacy policies to that of Build Your Box. These companies will be given personal data only in the delivery of products to customers. Build Your Box will disclose personal information if applicable by law, i.e. if order by a court or governmental authority.

6.0 Your rights

At customers’ request Build Your Box will present, in writing, any data which is held by said customer and for the purpose in which it is used, this request will be fulfilled within 30 day. Also at customers’ request Build Your Box correct or delete personal data which is inaccurate, incomplete or irrelevant to the purposes of fulfilling a purchase order.

7.0 Internet Commerce

During the online shopping process customers are asked to provide payment details which will be entered during checkout. If, for whatever reason, a customer does not feel comfortable using the checkout it is possible for customers to contact Build Your Box directly to arrange an alternative payment method. Please note this process may add additional time onto the delivery of products, for Build Your Box contact information please see section 9 of this document.

8.0 Third-Party Sites

Sites which are accessed through Build Your Box may have their own privacy policies and practices which Build Your Box cannot control. Customers/users should be aware that tracking cookies and other privacy concerns should be addressed by reviewing the individual privacy policies of any site linked from Build Your Box.
